Here is Muffet's completed face. The eyes are black buckram which were shaped over carved foam forms so they'd be 3-D, edged with black piping. I wound up having to sew them in manually because the glue wasn't working out. The mouth is just a piece of black cord whipstitched in place, and the fangs are Sculpey. There are carved cheeks and a bottom lip attached to the face underneath the fabric (which is some kind of minky) because I was hoping for some dimension...not sure if it looks okay or not. :P Also you can still see some of the green foam of the face through the eyes so I guess I have to try to trim that back some more. Still want to put a little fan behind the middle eye, with no actual mouth I could use some more air in there. There is a zipper down the back because I wanted the neck to stay pretty tight.
