It almost seems as though the more often I assert that I'm "retired," the more jobs that come my way. And because I don't need the money to eat and pay rent any more, I can afford to be a little choosy. Having just finshed a job last month, I didn't really expect another to appear so soon. But I seem to have a solid deal for a story of several pages that will make it possible for me to buy one of those coins that a collector like me usually only dreams about. I feel free to talk about the coin -- a large silver piece by the Roman emperor Claudius, that is more expensive by a sizable margin than anything I've ever bought. I don't feel so free to talk about the client's story, however. Maybe later. And I don't know if I'm likely to post the rough page layouts or other such unfinished work. However, I don't think it can hurt to show the rough drawing I did of the three principle characters.
