"Beyond seas and mountains, in the castle of an ancient kingdom,
Lived a woman of fabulous wealth and grace.
She was the only heir of her father, ruler of the place,
Although to his regret, he never had taught her wisdom.

The princess possessed everything one could acquire,
Yet she was consumed by an insatiable desire,
A wish that had turned into an obsession,
And that only a very peculiar mirror could grant.
She wanted to be the most beautiful."

Uncovering a mirror in her father's tower, our heroine utters a careless wish, for a prince worthy of her beauty and her grace. When a voice and a shadow of a man appears in the mirror, she knows she has been heard.
