So finally, here’s what I was thinking for the Reliquary-themed commissions - you can either get a reference or a scene, $40 for either. They’re a temporary deal for now, but no real idea on the ending date - maybe a month or two. A short breakdown of each -

Reference: Two views of the character (front and back, or clothed and unclothed, etc) with some gear selected from a supplied image. I’m totally open to and would encourage personal touches to the gear there ( for example, taped grips, custom paint, heavily weathered, writing on it, etc). If you have an idea for something that’s not on there, run it by me! If it’s something a bunch of other characters might find useful, I’ll even add it onto the gear page.

Scene: Something like a storyboard - as they are smaller, full-bodied characters would be not as detailed. Don’t expect the character in their entirety to appear on the whole image, unless it’s something like they’re looking at something very large, and you’re okay with them being not so detailed. These are also more-or-less free reign, but as with the previous commissions, I’d just need a short sentence or word describing what’s going on / the feeling.



A little bit on Reliquary’s general mood / background to help out with the feel: Reliquary takes place on a moon called Huu, which is largely unexplored. It’s a very frigid climate, and the world itself is very treacherous to those looking to explore. The mapped areas are by far the “safest.” Despite being known as the “safest” areas, a war rages within them. Between known “safe zones,” treacherous and mysterious firestorms rage across the frozen landscape, flash-melting and then snap-freezing the terrain into different shapes. Despite this, various groups, as small as one person or as large as a village look to escape into these areas for many reasons - some running from conflict, others believing the whole moon can’t be a lifeless, frozen tundra. Whether or not it’s a good thing or not remains to be seen, but Huu is far from lifeless - even displaying properties (if to be believed) that could only be described as “magic.”
Speaking in terms of meylan population - the stranded survivors on Huu are but a very small portion of a massive wave of stage-rockets escaping from their homeworld. As expected, not everyone survived the crash(es). The population grew somewhat since them, but recently (about a generation ago, in terms or what’s “present,”) another cataclysmic event left 65% of the survivors dead. In short- it’s a lonely and empty place, at least from their view.
Despite this, the meylan are a people with wants, desires, dreams, goals, reasons to live - everything that makes a person unique. Overcoming and looking past the present situation is key to having some semblance of a life - for many, this is reason enough to venture out into the unknown lands.
