Have some Ox-head as seen in the game La-Mulana! He and his partner Horse-face (that name makes me laugh every time lol) are guardians of the underworld in Chinese mythology. In La-Mulana however, they lie in wait, ambushing hapless explorers who dare to tread the path to the last pyramid.
