Pulled the sketchbook out for the first time in ages this evening. Considering that I've only scratched away in it about five times in the last fifteen years don't expect too much.
Oddly enough I even managed to dig up my old sketching pencils which I bought back in '89 or '90 when I used to be able draw a bit.
Graphite on '90's era paper. Varied sketches, some of which have to do with a novel I've been working on for a very long time. Photographed with a digital camera which is only partly responsible for the lousy quality.
Try not to laugh too hard.

There's going to be an update to that story very soon too. Mike should have it up on the bookshelf this weekend, I imagine...
It had been so long since I picked up the pencils that I had almost forgotten that I knew how to draw a little bit. I use to enjoy sketching quite a bit when I was younger but it seems to have been one of those things that got pushed aside as the realities of adult life took over. I was never all that good at it, but I'm happy enough with these attempts that I am going to try my hand at some artwork on a more frequent basis.
