Well, let's try this again
Going through mom's stuff, I located two original Xanadu pages. This is one of them. Because we are going to be short of money until the state of Delaware recognizes me as executrix, I will be auctioning this one off later today.

I remember the colour special, and have seen the Ever-Changing Palace issues at a friends. I hope he can find the time to dive back into fandom any day, he has a fat archive with even the most obscure fanzines ever. :)
we could do it like the wannabe authors in the past, who sent the manuscript of their stories out for people to read and included bank account numbers, so if you liked it you could donate a few dollars. xerox the comic pages and whoever gets a copy donates a few dollars to Vicky.

I just love these comics! I keep my copies well protected and read them carefully so as not to damage them . . . when one finds a truly enjoyable story with such wonderful characters . . . one wants to preserve it however possible.
Now if only there were more . . . I would have loved to read how things went when the Empress and her companions reached the lands of the Golden Dragons for the Golden Mother's celebration!

Alright, this might be an unpopular opinion but... I do not like Xanadu. I thought that Vicky Wyman made things too easy for Tabbe, and made me sympathize with Reginald Plume, who was supposed to be the bad guy.
Plus, I really didn't like how Vicky introduced Tabbe. I was expected to like this character, but instead, he's... kind of a creep, and so I feel that the relationship with Tabbe and Fatima was forced.
I'm not saying this to disrespect Vicky Wyman, this is simply my opinion. Still, it was sad to see Vicky gone.
