010309 - Unnamed Feline Swordswoman
Copics and Prisma watercolor on marker paper!
The orange was a lot darker than I expected, but I like the colors.
I wish the sword hand didn't look so shitty though!

Hm... very reminscent of... AHA!
The armour you're using is inspired by clothing sets out of Soul Calibur 3!
No, I'm not saying that's a bad thing... those armours are very nice and quite diverse ^-^
Anyways, as for the hand, I know the problem right away - it's kinna upside-down. Basicly, if you were going to use a pose like that and have the sword pointed as it is, the thumb and fingers would be under the handle, thumb facing down and out. The back of the hand would be face-up. Basicly, stretch out your arm, palm-down, then close it around an object like a broomstick and there you go.
Still, the overall pic is quite nice ^-^

heh, yeah. It was inadvertant but it IS kind of like SC3/SC4 costume parts.
When I saw the breastplate and shirt I was also thinking of Marth from Fire Emblem... I tried to avoid having the colors TOO close to that.
Yeah, it's embarrassing to make a rookie mistake like that with all the time I've been drawing. Maybe it's the lack of sleep talking but I'm really quite bad as artists go.

Ah, you're really not that bad at all... don't think so low of yourself. I still really like thic picture and trust me, the armour/clothing bits from SC3/4 are quite diverse and make for great inspiration/model work.
And as for the hand, I'm not that great either. It takes a lot of work, practice and looking at your own hands in the wierdest poses. The overall pic is pretty cool and I like it even with one mistake.
