tbh my favorite will always be the more abstract or unrealistic depictions of gore. as much as i do love how actual innards look and have a morbid attraction to it, theres something fascinating i find to taking that and turning it against its head, replacing innards with glue and glitter, among other things. its an aesthetic pleasure for colors but also i enjoy the possibility of uncanniness to it. plus also sometimes i just get really tired of the usual 2edgy4me realistic shock guro art out there

Yeah. Pretty internet jaded from shock guro over the years, and never held a huge interest in that level of detail outside of horror films/books/what have you. Most of what I'd appreciate in art would be lighter/abstract art depictions like Saturn Devouring His Son or Judith Beheading Holofernes. Your kind of fantastic take on it though has just been too damn interesting and I love it. :V
