On January 1st, Comicraft had a one-day-only sale on all their fonts. $20.09 no matter what font it is. This font normally sold for $99($69 without the international characters), and it looked great for my comic. Even has rounded E's and two choices of upper-case letter(lowercase was actually a slightly different uppercase). Plus all the crazy Spanish letters I needed for my Spanish version.
However, now that I've tried it out, it looks weird in my comics, in my opinion. I've spent a couple hours tweaking Photoshop settings for the font, and I found various settings I liked, but later those settings looked off as well. Maybe it's because I'm sleepy, maybe it's because the original version is fine as-is. I've examined other comics, and now I suspect that the thickness of the bubbles is really what needs changed. I've been tweaking the font to fit the bubbles, but maybe I need to thin down the lines of the bubbles to fit the font! It's a great font. Now it needs to play nice with my comics.
