a classic team composition consist of (in opinion) the three main categories of attack, defend and support.
it may be different whether your talking about modern warfare or fantasy swords and shields, but I believe the principle remains the same. you need a "tank" to take the brunt of the aggression. you need a fast moving aggressor who can remain loose enough to flank and deal damage from close and far. And you need someone to look out for the safety of the rest of the team, whether that means healing or acting as sniper support.
