untitled poetry, some a little dark, some very dark
and one about a volcano.
untitled 1:
A veil hides the world from us
A veil hides us from the world
We don’t show our faces
Neither do we see each other
A mask a veil separating ourselves
From the world around us
Keeping us shielded
One thing alone can break these veils
But that one thing is the one
The one that can hurt
Can damage
Can sear our souls
And yet we all crave it
Some more than others
And some hold it true
Protecting and fighting to keep it
Others throw it around and give up
When it gets tough
But we all want that one thing
That thing is love
A four letter word with more power than all of the heavens
It brings us to our knees and breaks our hearts
It makes us all dangerous
Its makes us
Live
And in a way it’s what can kill us
We break down
We give up
We turn ourselves into monsters
We don’t get stronger and stronger
Because we are monsters
Monsters monsters love can make us monsters
But only when it ends in grief
Untitled 2:
The cold rock heart beats shallow and hollow,
Empty and cold only the memories of the past keep it warm,
The spark that use to be its flame,
Is only a memory,
Now nothing can ignite its blaze and keep it sustained,
The cold rocks core glows and slowly fades,
Someday it will disappear,
And the rock shall be set as stone,
And nothing will break its shell,
The fires that use to burn within never to be seen again,
They couldn’t make it through the years,
And one day a new fire will burn,
Smaller and colder with fear.
untitled 3:
A roar in the distance,
Through the dark
Through the night
Breaking silence
Violent fight
Upon the scene
One can see
Two figures fighting
One is real one is seen
One is fake and one is hollow
The sounds ring out
The fight goes on
The figures merge
Somethings wrong
Two become one
And as one
Both are gone
Never separate
Never before
Never again
And life goes on
so if anyone can think of good names, please let me know
