Art by: ME
Cub is: Milo Greypaw
So, I had a depressed moment and was at another persons house when working on an art piece. I am not one to do really shitty work, I genuinely try and do something to the best of my ability, but I know sometimes I slack and give up just a bit. So...take this piece as an example.
I drew it, thought it was cute. I suck at ferals but I did my best with what I had.
But then I colored it...and it looked terrible. Everything I knew was pretty much half-assed, the colors on the cub were not right, the black did not turn out like I wanted it. So cue in more depression when I found out this guy hired an artist to pay me back for my "efforts".
So, for the first time ever, I went into paint to paint over my traditional artwork, pixel-by-pixel...to fix this guy's colors. But then, I could not stop there. No. Next I worked on the tree to try and make it look better, then the gifts, then my wolf. So, almost all of it was redone, bit-by-bit because my work is my soul...and just because I'm feeling shitty doesn't mean that I should give people shitty work.
So I drew it, colored it, then painted it...whew. Two days and I'm done (I don't have a tablet so I had to use my fingers)...but yeah, at least it looks better than it did before.
Anyone else have moments like these?
