This piece was soooo fun to work on. Full illustration for caninehybrid of Sonar, a Dutch Angel Dragon, flying by the Rainbow Bridge of Lake Powell.

I really tried to push some things in this, scrapping many pieces after deciding I didn't like it enough, often setting back a lot of work. I played around with water and rock croppings, neither of which have ever been my forte. I wanted it to look bright, and rich and also really work on feather lighting, which can often elude me.

Such a blast!
