Sorting through my extensive set of markers to see what faded, and started going into the deep web trying to find replaces for my precious smelly things of death. As it is with the internet, I ended up finding my way to a chartpak reseller, where they go over the basic functionality of the most famous marker from their set, the colorless blender. Found out why it is a blender, and it smells bad. The things are solvents! I've been sniffing chemicals that can cause nerve damage. Hoorah! Despite that, decided to implore the new trick/technique for them, mostly for the blender. Turns out, if you have the right sheet of paper, and the right type of ink on it (my printer can't do this since it actually is efficient with its ink usage, and only puts down what is necessary), you can do transfers from one sheet of paper to another. So, out comes stacks of random junk mail, and down they go. So I had a sketchbook paper covered in crud, and needed something to go with it. Just the thing in mind too.
Ended up using one of my newer characters, this being Boo. She comes from a set of all thing super-poof haired super spies. Most known of them is the Mewtwo-clone/Mewthree Demisewan, followed by Dee. Boo takes from Demisewan's invisibility and limb disconnect, and then massively ups it. In the end, she is basically some Japanese roboticist's fetish doll. She's extremely augmented and teched out, and when it comes down to digitally capable characters, either I go for her, or a Digimon. Well, you know what I picked.
So again, got junk mail, plastered it down to a paper. Smelled up my apartment with solvent, and then repeated until I made a mess everywhere. Pose is basic to draw, and probably spent most of my time inking Boo's hair. In the end though, the entire work is traditional. There is no digital done to this. Think I'm mostly in a quick work, experimental mood this month.

i agree, im not a fan of sadness much, or pain at all, so i'm designing a girl of my own who actually gets small bits of pleasure and excitement when her parts are taken off or put back together :P
maintanance days are very happy for her and her creator, (until she becomes mine, and i get the happy days) :D
