My fav parts of this picture to draw were the trout and the drapping lily pads. Otters are such sleek, twisty creatures. I've always thought that anthro ones would be very graceful especially in the water! 10 x 12 marker, coloured pencil and ink on parchment paper.

I like the way the light is coming from the front of him, like it's shinging down on him and he's flipping over to dive into the depths. This loaded while I was off getting coffee so i first saw it from the side. Very very well done. Thanks for sharing with us.

I like the coloring - and how the fish swims just at the right place to peak my curiosity what may be behind him *^.^* And those paws are marvellous...
