I completely adore this picture!! I love seeing Egon happy, and not goofy looking or mad or stoic. Also, funnily enough, the first wyrm I was given was a mushroom gatherer. (That is it's species.)

I'm always exploring Peter's world outside of Ghostbusting. It was fun to join you in exploring Egon's and seeing what he enjoys! When he's in his comfort zone he opens up in his own way. I like seeing that!

Honestly I think you are the only person that I have seen draw them outside their own environment of Ghostbusting. Seeing Egon out in the field, well forest, and collecting spores, molds and fungus is awesome and suits him as a character. Great exploration idea and concept.

Sooo, maybe you can solve a mystery that's been haunting my childhood memories. If this was based on the original Ghostbusters, why does Egon have blonde hair? My only guess was they needed a token blonde guy and Egon drew the short straw. Egon/Ramis was always my absolute favorite, so I could never watch the cartoon cuz I felt like they replaced Egon with some blonde guy. >_>

Well, DIC didn't want to pay likeness fees, and they discovered that since the Ghostbusters are mostly white guys with dark hair, it was going to make it tough to tell them apart. So they redesigned them from scratch and made them all unique from each other.

As for why Egon is specifically blonde, I have no idea. But you might want to ask :iciongabbicoon:! She designed him! :)
