Story by Drakitten
"That fucking..." Gee grumbled to herself as she slammed the door behind herself and kicked off her high heels.
"Rough day?", a familiar voice asked from the kitchen, and she blushed a bit. She had almost forgotten Deirdra was still staying at her place. She'd come visiting from Rainside, and over the weekend they had a lot of fun at a club. Weekdays still meant work, though.
A scent from the kitchen interrupted Gee's thoughts. Coffee and something sweet? Sure enough, a moment later Deirdra emerged from the kitchen carrying a fresh cup of coffee in one hand, and a donut on a plate in the other, much to Gee's delight and slight further embarrassment. The tiger offered the monster bunny a little grin, and it took Gee a few moments to pull her attention away from the tiger and her tasty smelling treats before she could remember the question.
"Yes. I'd rather not talk about it.", the bunny admitted. "Good idea.", Deirdra agreed as she set down the treats and greeted the blue bunny with a firm, warm hug, before gently but insistently nudging her towards a chair. "Go sit down. Time to relax. I made you coffee.", she continued. "You shouldn't have.", Gee protested half-heartedly, but she only offered some token resistance before allowing herself to be pushed into the chair.
Gee sighed a little and shifted in her seat, getting comfortable before getting her cup from the table and taking a sip. The next moment she felt Deirdra's fingers on her shoulders. She tensed briefly, but those strong fingers quickly set to work, pressing into tensed muscles and working the stiffness out of them. Gee groaned and then let out another sigh, her cheeks heating a little once more. The tiger's fingers weren't too gentle, rubbing and pressing at knots without much mercy, hurting just enough to really feel it, but never so much that it got uncomfortable. Among little noises of ache, the monster bunny began to make sounds of increasing relaxation, as lingering pains she barely even noticed anymore were worked out of her shoulders and upper back. One of her ears perked up to watch Deirdra work, in-between staring at the tiger's chest anyway, while the other looked even more relaxed than its owner and dozed off.
When Gee had finished her coffee, she almost reluctantly leaned forward for a bit, setting down the cup and reaching for her donut. Deirdra's fingers slid from her shoulders only long enough to let her finish the motion before slipping right back in, her thumbs rubbing and pressing, hands gripping and squeezing, until the strong tiger had gently forced the tension out of every last muscle along Gee's shoulder and neck.
"Feel better?", Deirdra asked with a certain amused enjoyment in her tones, before pressing her lips to the bunny's warm, somewhat sensitive neck for a gentle kiss. "Mmm-hmm.", Gee answered, sounding very relaxed. She'd already nearly forgotten what it was that had bugged her at work.
