The fire gently crackled in the fireplace, illuminating the crude but charming interior of the wooden cabin. Above the mantle, crowning two crossed hunting rifles, rested the imposing and quite massive head of a fearsome predator that once roamed these parts. Silvery feathers gleamed in the light, a pitch black beak opened in a snarl showed a matte blueish tongue and suprisingly sharp teeth. The once magnificently glowing spots on the feathers gave of a weak glimmer in the light of the dancing flames.
But those eyes, once alive with a bright glow and sharp intelligence seemed to look sad and longily at the world, which had clearly moved on without her.
I really have a backlog of art to upload.

And sorry for the kinda gloomy story, but i found it quite fitting^^
