The 15 minute background was supaaa rushed~ XD
And neither did I colour the dragon so well x________x
So really its rather packed with mistakes...~
But first thing i've posted here sooo that should hopefully remove the mental tag of being a lurker~!! Yaayz~! :3
I'll have to improve alot on my colouring and line work :X
But I will promise to draw more often and make sure I do improve XD

With the background, its a simplicity vs complexity comparision. The background being kept to minimum (but still completely distinguishable) detail makes your dragon seem that much more lively in the foreground. It doesn't seem like much, but is a fairly common, and effective, artistic tecnique thats a branch of standard contrast.
