I like Doggo too, but realistically I'm not so sure that someone whose eyesight is entirely based on movement and seemingly lacks the ability to grasp the concept of object permanence would be an ideal husband.
I think I'll stick with Asgore. He's a really nice, albeit a coward and debatably a bit of an idiot for all of the reasons Toriel said. There's pretty much no chance of her taking him back as a husband and she's more likely to get with Sans.

That said, Asgore will surely be lonely...
