I've gone and read all the chapter available on the link (Ark 1).
It's one hell of a story, the worldbuilding is delicious and I didn't find flaws in it.
The two story feel too disconected however (in space AND time) to justify the format of switching between the two even if they both serve to build (I suppose) the same world.
Great read otherwhise.
