HD 40307 d: 3409/3/4.76: Another 'Starladder' structure discovered at Epsilon Tharsi. Preliminary observations reveal some electromagnetic activity and traces of atmospheric ionisation at the lower level. Again no indications of the structures' origin or purpose.

it's almost easy to glaze over the details, but once you look close there's a ton of great little nuances
the shrubs/tree line effect near the water in the foreground, the oil paint-like smears giving the mountains that sharp, rocky look

I really dig the juxtaposition of the broad quick strokes and hte fine meticulous ones - also I'm reminded of a scene from the new star trek movie which I saw last night (it was epic win)
