Recon night, log day 14 moon cycle 2:
Our Recon mission started off with success, we were able to obtain another “Promethean Soul” for one of the many archives on Sangheilios. By nightfall we engaged in a firefight after our fire team was spotted by Zealot assassins, unsure how long they knew our position, but they got one of our men tonight. Rkar reacted in such a way I have never seen before. He was mad, more so than ever. I grabbed his arm as he yelled into the night with agony. The pain was real; battle to him was different than his brothers. Losing a soldier was different, as his kind grew up to pass quick momentums, he learned the old ways. Life has value, value that he wants to act on. A value that can’t be broken.
