When asked about favourite time of year, I'm usually compelled to say winter. But frankly, that may be due to a rose-tinted view of winter, formed when it's at its best - with a steady carpet of fine snow on the ground and a breezy air.
The reality of late autumn/early winter though is a bleak, wet and a very dark mess.
So have a small sketchy comic about somber weather.

>a hardcore blizzard outside, probably 10cm of snow per night, everything's white

>0700 - rain pouring down on icy sidewalks, mud and old ladies falling everywhere
>"Singing in the rain", A Clockwork Orange way, because a) a cane is needed for now-aching knees and b) you want to hit something with the said cane.
In 2007 we had to use fence posts as firework launchers because there was literally no snow.
