Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste
There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe

So many Christmases as the ones before,
Punishing the wicked far more than he could endure.
Never once complaining, or showing remorse,
As he went onwards on his miserable course.
He couldn’t hide his sadness, hard as he tried,
When the winter creatures saw it, even they cried.
Santa once so busy eventually understood,
He’d neglected the demon for as long as he could.
Not intentional his ignorance of the Krampus demons woes,
Too busy in his workings to have gotten in the know.
He knew he must do something to lighten the demons heart,
A simple endeavor and he knew just where to start.
As the Christmas season neared again as it always should,
He approached the Krampus at his domicile in the wood.
Gently he would speak to him, looking him in the eye,
Hard to find the words to say, but knowing he had to try.
“Krampus, for your patience , ever through the pain,
for your quiet, ever through the strain.
I’ll let you deliver toys this year,
To all the children I hold so dear.
Not a task that I take lightly,
To my heart I hold it tightly.
But I know your heart is kind,
And you’d have the best intentions in mind.”
Krampus was elated at this wonderful news,
So quickly was forgotten his oppressive holiday blues.
Hardly believing the words heard were correct,
He pinched his arm for a dream was suspect.
But quickly he realized he was indeed awake,
So it was with no thought the offer he did take.
So the elves put together his very own sack,
Though with so little time they surely had the knack.
To get it done quickly to hold a worlds worth of toys,
Packed together snugly for good little girls and boys.
They fashioned the demons own santa hat too,
And a matching loincloth, both entirely new!
Scarcely able to to wait for the time to come,
When he would deliver his treasures to daughters and sons.
Soon the time arrived on Christmas eve night,
And every second passed for him in sheer delight.
Krampus headed out his soul finally lifted,
Out to the world to see whom would be gifted.
At first frightened, children unsure,
A beastly demon bearing gifts; so terribly obscure.
this hairy brute, who came through the door,
they realized was kind, and they grew to adore.
His heart warming demeanor, his low spoken voice,
Soon when he arrived, all were quick to rejoice!
Just as good as santa bearing gifts,
Through both rain and snow drifts.
Never the smile wavering from his face,
No other expression ever taking its place.
Though enough it was for just a year,
For this joy to inspire a tear.
Santa assured the Christmas demon,
This wouldn’t be the only season.
Where for once he could bring delight,
To all good boys and girls on Christmas night.
This heartened Kramapus even more,
For the idea to see again the kids he adored.
So as he promised so long ago,
There in the bitter December snow.
He had a spring in his step for all the year round,
The happiness he felt sure to abound.
When doing his duty thinking just of that one time,
Gifting not punishing solely on his mind.
It made things a little easier when the bad became good,
And he could reward them since they too understood.
Christmas joy should be felt for not only a day,
And doing onto others happiness the only way.
To reap the miracles that Christmas could bring,
To feel the warmth of which angels sing.
Krampus and his wondrous wishing star,
Joyous feelings that would never mar.
"Bless you Santa, and bless my star,
For granting my wish, though spoken so far.
I was beginning to believe that no one cared,
Thinking that no one was ever aware.
Now How happy to be wrong I feel,
For making my one true desire real.
Though it pains me to return to what I’m meant to do,
For sharing your joy with me, Santa I’m grateful to you."
So if you see Krampus, knowing you’ve been good,
You needn’t fear as naughty children should.
He might just having a brightly wrapped treasure for you,
And with a wish for a wonderful Christmas, he’ll bid you adieu.

The response was decent enough I felt I should continue this, and I think the poor guy needed a break, so came up with this. Hopefully the poem flows okay, it's a bit different than the last as random parts came to me at random times so it was written entirely out of order , usually parts would come to me when I couldn't type them up! I included the 'Believe' snippet as it seemed to fit with the theme, and for those who don't know it that comes from 'The polar express' soundtrack.
