Thanks for the welcome. I got the idea googling Egyptian gods and came across statues from second century A.D. Alexandria and one had Horus in a typical Roman legionnaire scale armor of the time with the scales resembling feathers. Another had Anubis with a Roman toga. I suppose furry / anthro art dates a bit further than the twentieth century.
