Well since every artist seems to do one of those at some point and I wanted to do it too for some times already here's mine, a little review of how Danny changed throughout the years (note that this is Danny only in his original shapes, no alternative shapes and no erotic images):

1: The very first draw incarnation of Danny... wow can't believe how much he changed from that first image but a lot of his features are already there, the back-bent horns, pointy long ears, the rear toe claws and tail blades (still folded then)... This actually sprung from a boring day when I waited in the car and tried sketching myself in the mirror and got the idea “what if I draw myself as a dragon?”... this is also closest to what my actual hair style looked back then... the tail blades where inspired by “Dragonheart” BTW but I don't remember what inspired me to do the rear toe claws... I tried a lot of different color schemes but somehow brown stuck best to me

2: Color change, some style improvements, ears got MUCH longer, hair style changed and Danny grew a beard since I grew one RL too (oddly I changed his pants to blue for a while even though I never wear blue pants anymore) PS: His colors are actually the base orange, brown, pale yellow and light blue colors of MS Paint ^..^;

3: Danny lost the beard again as it made him look too old but kept the sideburns, something still present to this day... this was also a VERY short phase where he had stripes in his male form

4: Back to black, Danny got his black jeans again... also visible here Dannys tail blades changed from greenish to pale yellow, this change actually came much earlier but I had no “clean” pics to show that

5: Danny got a bit more beef and the ears got a bit shorter again

6: Again a short phase where I drew Danny with glasses but something I quickly dropped... this is also the very last picture of Danny I ever uploaded to VCL before a brief phase on Deviant and Sheezy

7: And another short phase where I drew outline free... style wise the horns got a lot shorter and slightly more angled down... but since outline free was hard to do and doesn't really look that good it's no surprise...

8: ... I did my pics with outlines again... also not very visible here but Dannys hair style changed again... this was also kinda my good bye from deviant (haven't used my old account there in ages)

9: Here the hair style change is most obvious, changed from that single lock falling on his snout to two long strands of hair accompanied by a few shorter ones, a change I actually did due to a drawing a “at that time” friend did of him... also the tail blades got shorter, a little thicker and closer together (not visible here though)

10: From one year ago (there was a longer phase in where I didn't really draw Danny too “normal”), a pretty final style for him (except the boobs :P)... I also drew wings less and less since they are often a pain to draw and block out too much of the image, I still do them now and then though to remind people that Danny DOES have wings

11: The muzzle got a little flatter (less pointy looking) and the split in the upper lip more defined

12: Pretty much the final design of Danny

13: And welcome to 2009... how Dannys looks will change in the future... only time will tell ^..^


But one thing is certain... he and me as well will stay scaly (with some minor TF related exceptions but none permanent) and we both will be the messengers of scalie love to the community
