I am really hesitant to post this because my character is kindof my everything. He is my main oc and my favorite at that and I am really worried about how he will be received but here goes!!

Personality
Doyle tends to generally lean on the unfriendly scale of social interactions. He is terribly brusque, making friendship a difficult thing to achieve at first glance. He will insult you with blunt comments and observations, always picking people apart in accurate ways. He is rude and isn't afraid of hurting people's feeling. He is very cold and aloof, certainly not willing to become friends with anybody, really. Even at his friendliest, he is usually pushing people away. He doesn't want to let people break through his sharp and dangerous shells and walls. It takes persistence and patience to become close to Doyle to any degree.
Doyle is highly secretive as a person, so he tends to spend even less of his time talking about himself. He doesn't like to give clues into who he is past all of the walls and underneath the sharp and unforgiving quills. He doesn't want to tell people personal stories and experiences, and doesn't want to tell them about his preference for eating food with chopsticks. He doesn't like being asked questions about himself and is more than often avoidance and will ignore the questions altogether or will give falsified information to shake them off. Mostly seen in people asking him what his first name is. He will give a single person a new answer every time it comes up. He very rarely gives out his first name.
He is very demanding and prefers to be in control of a situation, but he exhibits more than just a capacity for accepting orders. He is a natural leader but with a learned follower behavior. But it is beginning to crack and fade and he is becoming more and more resistant to following rules and directions. He doesn't like being told what to do and how to do it, but sometimes ends up accepting his fate as a subordinate in certain situations. More of an alpha, though. Being in control over everything and everyone around him makes him a lot more comfortable. He is the sort of guy who is pulling all of the strings, whether or not you think he is. No matter how you think your interactions with him are going, you could just be feeling this way because he wants you to.
He doesn't exactly have the most stable idea of morals and more often than not displays a complete lack of them altogether. He doesn't seem so wrapped up in the feelings of others around him as he is usually drowning in his own. He will step on other people for his own gain or his own protection. Though, occasionally, he has formed attachments to people. He does appear to care about their emotions and well being but will still play it off like he doesn't. When he get's attached to people it is never a small attachment; once he trusts you and wants you around he will dig his claws in you and make sure you can never leave him. He becomes emotionally dependent on them even if they don't think he is. Mostly seen in his relationship with his older brother Johnny who has remained the only consistent part of his life even if he had been abandoned by him. He has dug his claws so deep in to Johnny he is a little more secure in their relationship.
Under all the sharp quills and the biting teeth Doyle can actually be revealed to be a really vulnerable person. He is in a constant state of fear that causes him to lash out. He has trouble forming attachments to people but once he does they become so important to him that he has a habit of putting them above himself. He is so scared of losing these people that matter to him that he his honestly anxious about it. This fear and all of this anxiety cause him to become so incredibly angry that he rips and tears at people, even those close to him. He will rip them apart and then himself. He Will split and leave people before they can leave him and ends up devaluing them entirely. And despite his cold exterior he is full of fire and feels every emotion so intensely that it is crippling. He has a nasty habit of self harming when he is particularly bad and gets particularly explosive and it can be hard to soothe him. He completely lacks the tools to self-soothe at this point.
Despite everything, though, the beast that comes out on the night of the full moon is not what one would expect from the lanky angry human. On the night of the full moon the game seems to change and instead of being in any kind of control the wolf goes on some sort of frenzy. He is highly dangerous, or so it seems. He only seems to be on the lookout for one thing, however. Food. He is on the prowl for fresh meat and he doesn't care if it comes from a mouse skittering across the floor or from a human being who just happened to cross his path. But due to the fact all he seeks is food it is actually possibly to get him to a calmed state on the night of the full moon. If you feed him until he is satisfied he can actually be somewhat affectionate. Tends to seem a little grumpy but very much relaxed and more interested in laying around than attacking anything. The full moon was actually one of the times Doyle was the least bit useful to his father unless he had spent the days before it starving him and kept him locked up until he could point him at something. This is also the sort of creature who comes out if Doyle is starved or neglected at all.
If he shifts off moon he seems to mostly have his wits about him if he was in control of the shift. If he shifts during intense anger, though, he will tear through anything and anybody too close.
