When Forge first arrived in Ponyville from his home in the scraptown of Harper's Ferrier, he needed someplace to stay. The Apple family was kind enough to offer him a place to stay until he could find or build a place of his own.
In return, Forge had to help out around the farm, including doing things that he had never done before, including plowing the fields. Teaching him, it seems, is a task Big Mac took to with a certain...relish.


This was drawn before I had decided on Forge's Mark, but still, with my proclivities, it is still one of my favorites!
