Back, long, long ago when 'mailing lists' still existed, there was one I was on that the legendary "Karabiner" was on as well. He, much to my surprise (and delight), sent me a few very simple emails after I'd posted some artwork, saying little more than "I love your lines, can I color your work?" to which I replied YES!, hehehe. This pic, of an old WoD character of mine, was the first that Karabiner was kind enough to put his hand to. This is back from that busy '99 period for me, too. But, the way it worked, I drew the pic, inked and lined it, Karabiner did the absolutely wonderful color :)
