nah, Shepherd was still up there in the citadel doing whatever the hell with the ghost kid, in the mean time Azzax was handing Harbinger it's own giant plated ass and defeated it, then Shepherd chose destroy and the shockwave delivered the final blow as Azzax walked away from it in victory
Yeah i dont think it wouldve benefitted Azzax or any indoctrinated victim at all. in fact im pretty sure she would still try to destroy as many reapers as she physically could. being fused with synthetic life is not something she would ever want since she almost got turned into a husk on one of those dragons teeth. her scar is a constant reminder of why shes fighting to end the reapers. Having them as puppets controlled by ghost shepherd is not ideal for her. :y
yeah shepard dies in all of the endings no matter what you choose, but the fact still stands, it really would not have sat well with Azzax, because she will not have gotten the closure she fought so hard for and she would not have come out of her madness seeing them all walking around like nothing happened
