Hoga are a blend of pig, hyena, gorilla, deer and a few other bits to help blend the anatomy, here are a few points to remember:

- The nose is padded and very sensitive, it has a pointed tip and is thick on the bottom, they have an excellent sense of smell.
- The eyes are forward facing, but slightly further apart compared to a usual predator
- Their neck and chest stay free from hair/mane
- They have small canines in the front, and just behind are a set of tusks (top and bottom)
- Their ears are rounded and vary in length according to the climate they live in
- They still have whiskers, though fairly short on the muzzle
