It isn't too revealing, but we already know about Li, Mei Mei, the panda village, the villain (Kai), Tigress' new wardrobe, and the "supernatural" threat that Po will face was kind of hinted at in one of the trailers and it is also in this book. It's more about the art than the reading, but the reading does provide a background on some of the characters and ideas and the story. It doesn't flat out ruin the movie.
I saw a really great KFP 3 Statue in the cinema yesterday [I would have took a pic if there wasn't kids running around all over] like Po stood on one leg and cubs climbing all over him
