Now in colour! Shading took a long time, but I think it came out alright. Kinda happy that I was able to make the trousers look properly leathery. And I spent way too long fussing with the stupid trackmarks (which still don't quite look right, but close enough I guess).

Wow. This really came out awesome. The colors, shading and textures are fantastic. I love how wonderfully the purple and blue complement each other, where going with a more pastel look, really works perfectly for his fur. The pants, belt and collar, all came out wonderful, having that leathery look to them and standing out nicely against the fur.
It may have taken you a while, but the time was definitely well spent.

Thanks, glad you think so! He has really tricky colours to shade, especially that darker fur colour (since it's supposed to be that colour like a Russian Blue cat, where it's somehow grey and blue and purple all at the same time, heh). I'm happy you think it came out nice. :D
Thanks, mate!
Metal is an interesting material to shade, especially something particularly reflective like stainless steel (like the piercings). Its base colour is very dark grey, but it reflects bright white...huge contrast between the light and dark bits. Took me awhile to notice that, but makes it really fun to shade now that I've figured it out!
And been trying to work on hand/wrist anatomy for awhile, since I only pretty recently came to appreciate just how much detail I was leaving out by just plugging generic paw-hands onto the ends of the arms. XD Glad that that's working out!

Ah, thanks muchly! You flatter me, mate!
Haha, cotton ball tails drive me crazy, too! It's like, even Bugs Bunny has an actual-rabbit-shaped tail, yet lots of people still seem to think they've got perfectly-spherical tails. :P I did used to do the anatomically-incorrect pawpads thing (despite knowing full well that rabbit don't have them, as I've handled rabbits before) before I came up with the 'skin-coloured but still kinda fuzzy-looking palms' as a sort of half-accurate comprimise.
And been trying hard to improve with anatomy, so really glad that came out well! Wrists especially...been doing a lot more of actually *looking* at myself for drawing my skinny characters, and was like 'wow, wrist bones are actually very not subtle...I should start actually frikkin drawing those'. XD
