Oh my... that almost looks like you've reverse engineered it... started with the photo and removed parts rather then starting with the sketch and adding to it.

Uhm... me either.. I'd be very interested to see how you do it. There's got to be some way of recording the view of your screen cuz they do it on youtube all the time.

I know :( I just can't figure it out, and thus is why I've no youtube videos up yet. Maybe I'll try to hook up a cam and aim it at the screen later.. dunno. I'll try to figure something out though. :3

Mostly how I do it, is just start with a flat base color, then use a 2px brush and scribble in the direction of fur pattern in small strokes, light brush. Then just change colors and brush sizes until I get it the way I want it. Needless to say Zoom is a very good friend XD

Hmmm, using a tablet I assume? I'd fail at that even with one I suppose. Though with practice I guess the concept sounds easy enough. I think I'll just stick with my PSCS fur filter for a while. :P

But yes, if you ever get a tutorial video going you can guarantee I'm all over it. Love seeing how other artists do things, and you're are so awesomely awesome... I don't need to say more. I'll have a look, see if I can't find you a program, or a tutorial on making tutorials. ^_^

Color
Background
There may be verious layers in between, but most of my color/detail work is normally done on one layer.
