Another colorized marauder piece of an old favorite of mine, this time of the ever controversial Bubbles!

Yeah, XOpachi drew her recently so I figured it was time to bring her back.
This one was...interesting because while it was being drawn, someone really liked the character until I revealed that she has implants, which was an immediate turn off and lead to like an hour of how beautiful natural bodies are and how you should be proud of you body WHICH I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH! I just couldn't explain how, with Bubbles, it's a character thing. Shoot people were even offering me BE powers XD
See, Bubbles' inspiration comes from American characters in anime like Tiffany Lords, Melody Honey, Swan White and so on. But I noticed that they always seemed to have overly round breasts which is considered "bad art" but I wanted to make it a design choice and that got me thinking and this is where the character of Bubbles really took shape.
See, she's a Salamander, right? Those don't normally have breasts what with not being mammals. Now, we're talking furrys here so the mammalian traits of humans carry over but this lead to another observation: a sizeable number of scalies have extra round breasts. Got me thinking, what if they were implants? Now I can't MAKE that claim and one might excuse it somehow but stay with me here: imagine if, sometimes, non-mammalian furrys are born without breasts. Not ALL the time, but it's a kind of genetic disorder they could have. Too much lizard/salamander, not enough human in their genes. And shoot if we're going that far she probably wouldn't have hair either, right? So yeah, that's a wig. Two actually, she couldn't decide which color she wanted (neither could I).
So, imagine if you will, growing up not with small breasts but NO breasts. Like she doesn't even have nipples. In a world where head sized breasts are the norm. Egad could you imagine how picked on she'd be? I'm sure when she was in school, people called her a "cunt-boy".
So yes, this would lead her to becoming very fake and plastic. A pair of the biggest implants they've got, two wigs on her head, ect. So now we have someone who has made herself hot and wants to show off her body...but now she has a complex about how fake she is, how people get turned off and weirded out when they find out her breasts are fake, to say nothing of how she feels when surrounded by ACTUAL natural head sized breasts.
To be blunt, I think people who get implants are both weird and fascinating. We should all be happy in our own skin and not be ashamed of how we look, but those that alter their bodies in such a way, you gotta wonder what drove them to it.
...yeah I'm sure that bothers the fuck outta somebody. Fuck it, don't care. Bubbles is a salamander with huge implants. Deal with it :P

There's a lot of great things in the world that are unnatural and fake. That includes a lot of fantastic boobs. XD
To be honest, I always liked Bubbles but really adored her when I found out how fake she is. Any girl can just be born with huge tits and giant hair, but this gal had to work for it. She went for a look that's big, loud and proud and I think that's cool. ;)

I know this is an old image, so a rando comment on it is probably weird as heck. I stumbled on Bubbles here after many years of forgetting about her, and sort of realized that she's probably one of the big reasons I came to like breast implants on anthro characters as more than just an aesthetic thing. I kind of like the more positive 'I want to look this way' aspect, my first experience with them was a friend getting them after breast cancer took away her titties and she was just so happy afterward. It kind of stuck with me to like them that way instead of the 'worthless bimbo tittymonster' way I've seen it most the times.
But yeah, medicated ramblings. A+ colorization. Cute af character, was always one of my faves.
