They started to walk away cause the kid mentioned in my first Mojave Narrows birdy pic was starting to get too close to them. lol.

Yeah, Those are definitly geese. I was attacked by one when I was a kid... Worst experience ever.

Looks like...a Toulouse, two African Knots and..a White Embden maybe.
Barnyard geese, the knots are worthless little pests but Toulouse and Embdens are good egg laying/meat breeds.

Those are breeds of geese.
Geese and Ducks are vastly different species, it's like Dogs and Foxes. They look similar but they can't interbreed and they tend to stay separate from each other.
