The final for this is going to be only the part inside the crop marks. I like the wing especially, and the shading on this one, so I thought I'd show it, even though it's embarassingly rough in some parts. =) Copyright info on the piece.

i'd be a little careful of cropping his arm right at the wrist--that feels really awkward; cropping on the lef thand side of the torso is getting too close to his pecs too. sorry, i am sensitive to this stuff haha
maybe if you pull that square down a little, cutting a bit of the neg space at top and then push it over to get his full right arm in. i dno! i think that'd be fun to play with. hands are interesting focal points, cutting something at the wrist is a little funky.

yah, gotta agree with Jill here. I see you may be having trouble with the foot, too, but like she said, imagine how much better the composition will be with his hand and the sole of his foot in there :o
Is this chara digitigrade? I suggest taking/finding a photo of the pose, just google lotus position and study the feet, then apply what you learn to what you know about paws. It oughta come out! And the prelim sketch on the hand looks awesome!!
