It reminds me a little bit of a poem I wrote, once.

I don't remember the words, but I remember the gist of it.

" Yes, my heart is broken. And though others may try, it will always be broken. I wouldn't have it any other way; my broken heart feels more than it ever did whole....But it's nice that someone's willing to hold it together for me."

When I had my heart broke that first time, the pain was something so unimaginable... and the fact that I'd get a grip only to have it burst apart again, not having really healed, so undergoing a constant breaking and calming and re-breaking scenario until I was finally able to get a level of closure.

As much as it sucked though... following it I had a surreal moment of life, amazed that something could make me feel so much.

Its one of those things you never wish anyone has to feel... but you do end up learning a lot from it.

The light may get fainter... the scars just say you've lived a rough life. Just gotta make sure it never goes out. The world has too little love in it as-is.

It's difficult but sometimes just gotta hold the pieces together. Reminds me of my Ex. and not in a completely bad way. I shall show him this image..
