This is a description of my fursona Chakat Goldstrike. I figured that I better put out a detailed description of my character as shi is quite a physically complex character.

Character description for Chakat Goldstrike. (Strike)

Shi has a genetic combination of Skunktaur, Foxtaur and Chakat overlaid on a damaged Human DNA sequence. The Skunktaur DNA being the first to be acquired then Foxtaur and Chakat last. The adaptability of the Skunktaur genetics allows for four separate DNA sequences to exist side by side, at certain places interlacing with each other. The shifting ability of the Skunktaur genetics allows hir to then change physical form to a Chakat, a Foxtaur (gender varies like a Skunktaur) and a male human. The Skunktaur form does not manifest itself ever, instead being the base DNA sequence that all the other sequences are attached to, including the original human DNA. The human form is not complete due to severe radiation damage done to the DNA sequence.

Shi has a tendency to become slightly overweight, just enough to look larger than normal, due to the Skunktaur genetics that cause Skunktaurs to hold on to a greater reserve of fat for their shifting, since hir tail cannot hold the required reserves of stored energy. Being ‘fatter’ in all forms occurs if enough food is consumed. The ability to store fat is greatly accelerated due to necessity. Shi doesn’t mind the fatter look, just doesn’t like it as much in hotter weather. The fat is not ordinary fat either, it is a more solid version of the milk water.

Even though shi has the ability to shift forms and genders in hir Foxtaur form shi never uses the Skunktaur pronouns for hirself, instead sticking to the regular herm pronouns. Shi has a great respect for the Skunktaur race and feels somewhat ashamed for originally being human, the species which originally paid for the creation and enslavement of the Skunktaur race, despite being from a different dimension. Abilities:
Psionic:
Empathy: Shi has an average level of empathy at a rating of E4.
Telepathy: Shi has a low level of telepathy at a rating of T2. This ability comes directly from the Skunktaur genetics.
Combined: When using hir empathy and telepathy in conjunction with each other it allows each talent to sort of boost up to the next level. Thus, empathy is boosted to E5 and telepathy to T3.

Second sight:
Since shi is from another dimension originally, shi has the ability to ‘see’ beings out of phase with normal existence (example: The Rakshani deities). But since shi has more genetics from the Chakat universe all shi can see is a shadowy haze at best. Shi can’t hear them or interact with then on their level, just sort of see them. Shi also has the ‘someone is watching me’ feeling when any of these out of phase beings are near hir. After an incident (in the future) the Rakshani deities change hir so shi can’t see or sense them anymore.

Fur pattern:
Overall pattern is that of a brown/red fox pattern with darker cream on belly.
Arms and legs have darker brown socks colouration.
Tail is black with two white stripes, similar to a skunk. Tail is slightly bushier than a normal Chakat’s tail.
There is a marking that extends from right shoulder to left hind hip in a gold colour that resembles a clawing from a large cat with 4 claws. These are jagged and uneven. The marking is a permanent scaring due to a severe radiation burn before entry to the Chakat universe. This marking has no relation to DNA or genetics from anyone else.
The coat has almost invisible spots (less than 1 inch across) all over hir darker fur, none on the cream fur. They are almost completely invisible because the colour of the fur just a touch darker than the brown/red fur.
With hir Telepathic talent derived from Skunktaur genetics shi has a red paw mark on the right side of hir chest, some of the marking on the upper right breast.

Head hair is a dark brown. The length goes down to the waist. Hair remains the same in all forms.

Chakat form:
Height: 170 cm (5’ 7” aprox.)
Weight: generally 180 kg (396 lb aprox.) (varies up and down)
In hir Chakat form shi is a Chakat. No other features from any other forms are present.
The tail is slightly longer than 1.5 meters at emergence (length being a rough indication of age). It grows slowly as all Chakat tails do over their life time.
Shi has fully usable handpaws. When bored shi uses these to amuse hirself as humans don’t have feet that can work well like hands.
Genitalia is the same as that of a normal Chakat.

Foxtaur:
Size is almost the same as that of hir Chakat form.
Fur pattern remains the same as a Chakat. The tail becomes much bushier and cheek ruffs become more pronounced. Gold marking is still there.
In Foxtaur form there are three different forms that shi can become.
1) A Foxtaur tod
2) A Foxtaur vixen
3) A Foxtaur herm – this form takes time to master.
The physical form changes to become a Foxtaur and handpaws are lost to regular digigrade front paws. Tail becomes that of a regular Foxtaur, not prehensile like a Chakat’s.
Genitalia is similar to a Chakat’s as there is no external testis in male and herm form. Breasts are the same as a Chakat’s as well.


Human/biped:
This is the most complex form. The physical form can be anywhere from a bipedal Chakat or Foxtaur to an almost complete human. On occasion small breasts included. Gender remains male though. No female anatomy is present in human/biped form.
As mass and height must remain the same, or close to it, the ‘human’ form is over 2 meters tall. Aprox. 8 feet tall (max 2.45 meters tall). (Freaking huge I know but physics needs to be remembered in this.) The body looks slightly overweight after a change. It is not fat, however, but muscle mass. Not ‘built’ mass but useless mass. When enough food is eaten and energy stored for a change the overweight look is more obvious.
Legs are slightly longer than the Chakat hind legs. The ‘waist’ joint and surrounding spine is absorbed, thus slightly reducing the overall spinal height. This makes the upper and lower ribs become ‘one’ set of ribs. The front legs are mostly absorbed, never fully. Originally they become like deformed arms and are similar to a shrivelled arm of a disabled person but with practice they eventually disappear into the body.
The lower torso ribs remain but they change to resemble something closer to cartilage allowing a better movement of the torso in bipedal form.
The biped torso is overly large and looks out of place.
All organs are still present but the second heart and lungs cease to function but still remain alive. Since mass is the same but circulation and oxygen absorption is reduced shi cannot exert hirself as much in this form.
The tail remains but as form gets closer to human like, the ability to control and move it is diminished.
Ears remain higher on the head and have more of a point to them. Not quite on top like a normal fur.
As form gets closer to human form almost all fur is lost. A small amount remains like normal human hair on body. No facial hair or growth exists like that of human males.
The gold marking looses its fur as well and a red scar is revealed.

As time progresses (2 to three years after first emergence) Shi gets the hang of changing to the most fully human form, but does it on rare occasions instead sticking to the taur forms as the human form lacks female organs which caused a female peak problem early in hir new life.

Genitalia is quite different to that of a human. Penis is located in a sheath and there are no external testis.

Shifting form:
Shifting form from Chakat to Foxtaur and back does not require much more energy than changing gender in the Foxtaur form. Changing to or from the bipedal form, however, exhausts all energy in the body. If there is insufficient energy to complete the change then under normal circumstances the change will stop when there is no more energy to allow the change to occur. But when a forced defensive change occurs then the change is completed but some muscle mass is taken to fuel the final changes. Then an adrenalin high give an artificial temporary boost to the body for fight-or-flight reactions. There is up to 15 minutes of alert time during this. Then the body reaches complete exhaustion and shi will collapse into unconsciousness for a long period to do an emergency recovery. If not enough food is consumed before, or medical assistance rendered after, falling unconscious then death will result.
