I'm sure the request was half-hearted, but here it is. This is C++ code for a small little console program that will take your bullet weight in grains and its velocity in feet per second, and give you the foot-pounds of energy--which is used to try to measure the effectiveness of the bullet. Since there's so much else that affects how a bullet performs, it's not the best way, but it's the simplest, and is an important factor.
This is a txt file, which is pretty much the ".cpp" file that is actual code. It needs to be compiled to make it work. If you change the file extension back to ".cpp" from ".txt" most compilers should know what it is, and do it. Probably easiest way to do it is to find a friend who knows more about programing than I do and ask him to compile it so it'll work on your computer.
