In my AU, Frisk is male. And is a Teenager. He does know when to give Mercy, but on certain things he refuses and will be to stubborn to make it seem why these things too need mercy. Also he at first doesn't trust Undalynn, but he cares for her so much to the point he loves her. But when the new timeline Sans, he sees likes her, Frisk tends to dislike Sans and his Puns and gets jealous quick. He hangs with Papyrus, Alphys, Undyne and Mettaton and Monster Kid (also named: Monsta Kie, in my AU). BTW don't get me wrong, my Frisk likes jokes, just not when they come from Sans. lol
