Had to wait a month to post this. Picture is currently in a box, hopefully in Europe at least by this point. These are two small canvases, paired together to make one image. They're supposed to be a friend's rats, though I'm really bad at drawing rodents, and honestly, the "brown" one does actually look more black on the original. Okay, and the canvas fabric isn't so obvious either. Scanners. What gives?
In any case, came up with this idea mostly since I felt like painting, and realized I had these two tiny canvases which really suit no other function than for images like so. Took a few weeks of maybe an hour every day at most. And also lots of wasted white, and lots of swearing. Haven't used said paints for over a decade, and does it ever show. But something a little personal for once, that isn't fanart. Yay!
