Due Date: May 18, 2010
My Dedication Page This poetry project booklet is dedicated to my sister for being very artistic, even though I have done all the work to tribute these sets of poetry and the designed project itself to her and also my brother, who is an expert at English and is very liberal. I also would like to share this and take them into memory and courteous consideration to my friends, the friends I once knew, my other family members, and my best friends, Jaclyn, Kourtney, Robert, Cye, Caleb, Emily, Suzan, Prathna, Britney, Trevor, Jack, William, Amanda, Evans, Anya, Kia, Sophia, and everyone else that I will commit my determination, efforts, and productivity to. It is an enjoyable experience to be of worth, especially for all of the dearly people that I find beloved and acknowledgeable. From here and on out, you may enjoy reading my poems as you go through each of them by thought, whether you hear it, see it, or both. However you like to sense it, it is up to you to take knowledge and interpret my ways of messaging. Thank you. ~Ryan Cook

“Journey to the Enlightened”
Soaring stealthily though the electrolyte mind
My grades are paramount and vital to me
I must hurry to my fastest workings
Over to my days of such labor
Ever since as a young, carefree, and blissful child
I learn not to accept any final failures I must not succumb to my waiting times
Be a good student for gaining attitudes
This is my journey through the lights
Be praying, be praying, be praying
Haiku
“Back in the Days”
The classes I went
were varied on my behalf
so I could not state
The school I once went
was a rough time for my life
when I was so young
The teachers I knew
had ways with our self-beings
it was long ago
Limerick
“Funny relations for fun”
There was a girl named Danyell
She would sometimes yell
We could maybe spell
She would make us dwell
She should bake cake well
I am a writer
We are all-nighters
My brother is a lighter
Where I am a fighter
We are all tighter
Some people are artists
While people are statists
They are chartists
While the others are rightists
We should have orthodontists
Quatrain
“Fantastic Knowledge”
A: When the adventures of our Arcadia
A: It fell beneath their place named Arabia
B: Although it is their world for us to know
B: We are at their thoughts of the ways they grow
A: To all of our students of prosperity
B: We are a united nation of creation
B: When it is our duty to be of our nation
A: It’s all that we have for clarity
Sonnet
“I can learn to solve”
Mysterious in the winter of what is made
I find myself stranded in something not temperate
It seems as if I was living for the grade
Although it will be a time that might be too late
I am scared for my own feelings of doubt
In my wise eyes, there is no world to vitalize
Melting forever in despair that it seems about I am under a cry for my ways to actualize
There is a call for help to my struggle
For the people afar are at an approach I can learn to see the corny against my muddle
Therefore, they are all not like a cockroach
They will be a helping hand to my academics
But the saviors are together for their pandemics
Concrete Poem
“Items of Education”
Markers
Colorful
Anti-toxic
Children
Visual
Inducing
Saturated
Liquid
Ink
“The Shape”
Oval
Geometric, no sides
Round, flat, and based on a shape
Part of math, and part of the subjects
Versatile, anywhere, and common
Like a circle, but stretched
Good for building
Opal
CARPE DIEM (Seize the day)
“The End of the School Day”
Gather your materials, as we leave
The past times have been known for
Though these students smile in the end
Tomorrow is the day we learn more
Ending Information Thank you to all of the people including you, who have read this entire poetry set. It may have been short, but it was worth your time, worth my work, and worth it for everyone. I would like to say it more and work though it more, but I think it’s enough work as it is. When it comes to reading poetry, you find yourself thinking many different things that allow you to collect your ideas and compile them to where you would try to answer the main hidden message to each and every poem. Reading them are very worthwhile, and it can bring forth much tributes to anyone that can do it, and to anyone that can acknowledge them for it. This is the end of the book, and be glad that you have enjoyed reading my small poetry book. Have a nice life!
