You dashed through the dense forest as fast as your feet would carry you, dodging thick roots that threatened to knock you flat. But even with your speed, the crash of the tree-like grass being flattened underfoot behind you seemed to grow closer and closer. Every time you tried to duck out of their path, you looked over your shoulder to find they were still right on your tail. He had to know you were there, there was no way this wasn't deliberate...but every time you stared back at the Rex's face, with his lips curled up into a smile, an expression of absent-minded contentment lacking any signs of acting or hidden malice. Life just seemed to hate you today...though, admittedly, part of you wasn't exactly complaining about all of this. You had come here for a little thrill seeking after all, exploring the backyard of some gigantic carnivores to get into some trouble...maybe more. And this was certainly-your foot caught on one of the roots mid steps, and you plowed down into the dirt hard. Even with the soil wet from being recently watered, it still hurt...and you had to cough up a few lumps of mud too. You tried to get back onto your feet, when a sudden impact not too far from you shook the earth and knocked you back down. Turning your gaze to the sky, you looked up just in time to see a red leathery and plump sole falling from the sky towards right where you laid. There was no time to move, and in seconds you were being pressed into the ground by the fleshy object. It grinded into the dirt, but most of the pressure moved off you as the Tyrannosaur shifted his foot to dig his toes into the ground. The sole kept you firmly down, however. There was no escape.
Through the flesh of the dinosaur, nearly drowned out by his quickened pulse, you hear him take a deep breath in and out through his nose. "Aaah...wow...what just a great day! Mum's right...I really do pay attention to the world around me more..." The boy paused to pull his toes back out of the ground and wiggle them, sending strange waves of pressure across you as his sole wrinkled with the motions. "...The sun and the breeze and feeling of my toes in the mud...man...I could just stand here all day..." The boy took a shallower breath in and out before falling silent, rocking slightly on his feet as he seemed intent to act on his words...and put more pressure on you. The back and forth motion rolled you slightly, but it always kept your firmly underneath the foot...until the T-Rex moved, there was no way you were going to get out of this one. So it looks like you were just going to have to sit back and take it...or enjoy it, maybe.
Well...assuming the pressure doesn't get to you...
Man, this is horrible...such a half-assed description for a wonderful piece...but I had to get this up today! This utterly fantastic piece was created by
bloodoodles and I am utterly blown away by it. For more than one reason...for, you see, I didn't commission this. No. I didn't even know it existed until today. This, my friends, was a utterly fantastic and incredibly surprising Christmas gift by
caliburman He got this for me and I am...I am just speechless. I wasn't expecting any presents this year beyond a few dollars in Christmas cards due to financial problems, but...this is just...it's very meaningful, and I feel like a dick for having nothing to give in return. So...I'm asking for a favor from all of my watchers. If you have not already, please...please...PLEASE go give Caliburman a watch, and favorite a few of the works he's commissioned too for good measure. It would mean a lot to me, and it would help me start to repay him for this awesome gift. Also, I will do my best to revisit this picture in the future and give it a proper story description. Just, for now, please forgive me for this horrible one. Likewise, the promised cute story description is coming along...slowly, but it's coming! I had hoped to get it done today, but something tells me that won't happen. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, or whichever holiday you celebrate! Happy Winter-y Times!

That is entirely up to your own imagination and preferences! I try to keep things ambiguous, because whille I'm personally someone who prefers non-fatal stuff, the whole point of the POV art I get and the second person stories I write is that YOU are the star. So, you get to decide what ultimately happens, based on your own interests! But, yeah...I'll probably come back one I get the next story description and a few gift stories I owe people out of the way, assuming classes don't kick my asses. Oh, so little time, so much to do...
As am I, my friend! As am I...but, don't compliment me for it! Assuming they ever submit it, go praise
bloodoodles for it! Big fan of the stuff you do and get, by the way! Especially your POV stuff!

Yeah,
bloodoodle really did some amazing work with this one! So fantastic...and...I'm genuinely surprised you like the story, consider how amazing of a writer you are! I'm sure your most bare-bones drafts are better than this! But, still, thank you!

Ohhhh no. Its hard to make words go well with pictures, but in this case it did. You look absent-minded in the picture....but the picture also gives off that subconscious feeling that you REALLY know what you are doing to the lucky little creature. That type of mind game is very domineering....and both the picture and story intensify it. :D
Oh no! Sly's completely unaware! He'd never hurt anyone...he's a very nice, shy guy. Not a predator at all. That being said...he's so absent-minded he tends to constantly obliviously stepping on people, or eating them, or so on. But, thank you! I guess I did a lot better than I thought with the story!
Oh, no! Don't apologize at all! You did nothing wrong! In fact, you kinda played into the whole point of the character. You'd expect a big Tyrannosaurus to be some vicious predator...but, he's exactly the opposite. I wanted to defy expectations! And, I'm glad that doesn't ruin it for you! And, that cake is currently stepping on you...so you can certainly have it! And, yeah! This is Sly's 'casual' outfit. He wears it around the house. You can't see it, but the t-shirt has logo of the garage band he's in on it. The Dinotes...because puns! But, normally, he also has his green jacket and high-top sneakers on, which do unfortunately hide his feet...but, as another picture shows, it's really easy to sneak inside them and have some fun times with his feet, if that's what you want! But, yeah!
bloodoodles did a fantastic job with Sly's foot in this...so perfectly meaty and soft! Simply fantastic work, and I'm glad you like it too!

They are fitting expectations. He's quite the character. Laid back, cool, and barring some sexy appendages. Sly has it all...especially cuz he is a REX!
Actually I would prefer that he make me one with the earth. Mud and grass sounds quite comforting, especially if the other half has a soft smooth leathery feel.
I hope http://www.furaffinity.net/user/bloodoodles makes more pictures of Sly like this in the near future!!! XD

Hehe, well, I'm glad you think so! Though, I wouldn't call Sly cool...he's a bit of a dork, due to his shyness and a tad bit of a nerdy personality. But, he's certainly a good and friendly person, one he you get to know him! And, well then, I guess Sly makes you and the earth one! And, yes...Sly has a very soft, leathery sole...it's a bit like a cushion, but even more jello-like. Or perhaps bread dough-like. Either works! Capable of crushing people into nothing, if that's what they want, or simply cushioning them from the force of his steps as they get stuck to it. Or anything inbetween, really. I have a very simple rule. As you are the star in my pictures, you get to decide your fate! I'm a fan of non-fatal stuff, but it's really up to you! And, we shall see! Depends on if I catch them when they are open for commissions! But, I hope I do eventually!
Ooooooooooo. A bread dough feel sounds wonderful. Nice word choice. And I think the fact that he is nerdy and dorky only further sexifies him. What a complex fellow Sly is. ;)
I would love a soft cushioned tread into the earth. The energy from your soles, combined with the energy of the earth, all passing through me.....it almost sounds like healing powers. LOL XD
Plus.....some toe-wiggling inches from me would provide a nice breeze if it is hot out. ;D

Hehehe, I thought you would like that! His soles actually also smell, with decent strength, of freshly cut grass and newly tilled soil...so...that's rather appropriate, yes? And, well then...nerds are sexy I guess, who would have thunk it? And, yeah...hopefully his complex side will come out more in future stories! And...huh, I suppose that does sound like a wonderful spiritual experience, yeah! And...hot, perhaps. He lives in a nice suburb in La Brea, Conifernia...a dinosaur version of Los Angeles, California. Because, again...puns. So...temperate weather, not overly hot nor overly cool. But, regardless of the temperature, you don't have to worry about Sly sweating though! Slyster is an actually kinda biologically accurate reptile in that way...he's that weird mix of cold and warm blooded that dinosaurs were. But, as a result, he doesn't sweat! So...maybe a plus to you, maybe a minus to you. I don't know. Still! With that soft, leathery sole pressing you down into the dirt...you have plenty of time to enjoy as much as you like...Sly's probably going to be there daydreaming for a few hours. I'm sure you won't be complaining though!
Actually...that is a plus. No sweat, cold blooded. It would be like having a nice soft cool pillow...but instead of my head on the pillow...the pillow is on my ENTIRE BODY. I live just a few hours north so I am used to the cold. And as far as I am concerned he can daydream as long as he wants. ;)
In my opinion...Sly should never feel obligated to have footwear outside. Soles like those....everybody would be asking for a shrink ray. LOL XD

Hehehe, I guess you could call it a body pillow then, huh? And, ah, I live in a desert that always switches from hot to cold, and never between...so I'm likewise used to it! Oh, Slyster shall...unless someone drags him back to Earth, his head will be in the clouds for a very, very long time. And, perhaps not, but Sly's soles would probably get chilly or blistered on the sidewalk, depending on the temperature. Plus, all that horrible stuff people drop in such places that could disgust or injure him if he stepped on...sometimes, it's simply better to wear shoes, sadly. But, hey, there's always when he's home, like this! Pretty easy to sneak inside if you had a shrink ray and wanted to get close to his feet! I'll give you a little hint...the kitchen window is always left open a crack in the daytime. If you shrunk down and climbed up the vines, you could get near those soles in no time!
And so Sly obliviously claims another victim...he'd be rather horrified if he knew, but...he'll certainly never notice, simply wiping off your remains along with the stray mud and grass that clung to his sole on the floor mat once he heads back inside. I admit, fatal stuff isn't normally my bag of tricks really, but...I'm always happy to accomidate! And you've gotten and created some pretty damn awesome fatal stuff yourself! So...anyway, thanks for your comments!
Hehehe, yep! But, it's very cushiony! Odd are, you'll just be stuck under a big, meaty bread dough-like foot for a few hours, while Sly day dreams about the world around him, alive and well!
I'm glad you like it! I don't know if
Bloodoodles is ever going to post the original, but I hope he does...so that everyone can praise him on his account!

Oh, very coozy! Warm, but also a bit cool...Sly's that strange mix of warm and cold blooded that dinos were. As for a free ride, probably back into the house once he's done...you're in his backyard, after all! But, he's a typical teenager. He's got a very dirty room, empty pizza boxes and chip bags, plus dirty clothes everywhere...not to mention, plenty of dark corners for a spider to hide in to make his web! Sly doesn't clean very often, and his mother doesn't do it either since he's too old for that...so, unless you exposed yourself, you'd probably have a nice permanent home! Just don't let him see you...spiders make him faint!
Heeeee, gosh, this already all sounds like the ideal place for a lil' spider to live! Although, I'll probably be living the risky life, considering I'm a jumping spider, and unlike my more sedentary cousins, I'm prone to exploring! I'll just have to be extra careful to stay out of Sly's slight - even if that means finding myself smooshed beneath his paws for a while! ^^w^^;;
Oooh, there'd be lots of paw smooshing indeed! And, of course, the risk of ending up in his food! Sly isn't very observant regardless. He's always daydreaming, and perpetually absent-minded. You could probably crawl up him without him ever noticing, so long as you didn't go in front of his eyes.
Gah, Sly and I have some things in common then, I'mjust as likely be trying to get a bite of his food as it's entering his mouth before even realizing my situation, as he is to notice me underfoot, heheh! Half the time I'll probably just be nibbling on some pizza leftovers, not paying nearly as much attention as a spider should be, when suddenly - stomp!
Fun times, heheh! X3
Fun times, heheh! X3
Well, you'd certainly make some great unaware roommates then! And, I'm sure you'd find the occasional pizza leftover in Sly's room...you better just hope he doesn't randomly get a craving before he throws it out, or accidentally steps on the box! The funnest of times, my friend. The funnest of times.
