Hard times had fallen upon Boz and Simba, their pair once seemingly impervious to the shameful shape the economy was in had themselves fallen victim to its unfortunate state. Not just a matter of being low on funds, Simba had been laid off from his job, and though this was not a reflection of his skills as an employee, for he was undoubtedly the best at what he did, being told he was simply too expensive to be kept on the payroll was nothing of a comfort when the rent became due. He'd managed to postpone the payment for as long as he was allowed, but the grace period quickly extinguished and soon both lion and tiger found themselves out on the streets, with nowhere to go...

Without giving away the entirety of this, it was intended as a short story (laughs) based after an old Christmas tale that's one of my favorite (No, not the one with the ghosts, that cow was milked out decades before I was even born.)
I had intended to put the story with the picture, but I got like two more Christmas specials I want to watch and I can't be bothered to space it properly so it's nt a jumbled mess in this stupid box so, please download the story which will be posted story if interested in reading it...and merry Christmas everyone!

Oh you and the 'too much clothing' thing
I am glad you like it sweety, and that I could get it done in time for Christmas, though it wasn't easy. I'm just glad it turned out pretty much exactly as I had pictured, I always have a bit of trouble with clothing hence trying to do it sometimes to get the practice. But I love you and thank you for such a wonderful Christmas.

Ah, nothing like "The Gift of the Magi." And I do love your twist at the end. While it may seem to undermine the point of the original story, the way you played it out actually fits its theme even better, with the storekeeper recognizing what the lovers should have all along and thus being even more true to Christmas.
