The world of Delyria is one that I've been meaning to revamp considerably; the original ideas for it that I had over a decade ago are sort of showing their age, and I want to give everything about it a thorough second look. One thing that's definitely going to happen is that it'll get thrown open a bit wider - I want to intentionally have parts of the map (if not most of it) be unexplored territory where I can stick new ideas for people or places as they happen. One of the races that's staying pretty much the way they are, though, are the Levendish. You could call them Delyria's equivalent of elves, although apart from the pointy ears and the living in forests, there's not a whole lot they have in common. The Levendish are all too happy to chop the trees down to build their lodges and houses, and there's nothing especially nature-oriented or ethereal about them. Physically, they look like fur-covered humans with pointed ears, tails, and short muzzles - which brings us to Terín.
She's a priestess of one of the many religions on Delyria; this particular one worships the God of Death and Judgment (who needs a better name than the one I gave him, since I was inadvertently ripping off Greek mythology). He's not an evil god, really; he just sits at the entrance to the underworld and decides where to send souls. Good ones go to a land of eternal peace and bliss, mediocre ones have to spend a while working off their sins before they get the same reward. The irredeemably evil get eaten; they have no concept of eternal punishment - just oblivion. Terín is a traveling teacher who wanders the world telling stories from her god's collection of lore; this is the reason for the three legs - it's symbolic of her duty (not to mention helpful).
