Didn't have enough time to work on creating a second clone army for Beak this year, so I decided to make Da Boss a holiday ornament instead.

So here we have a chibified Bob (yellow kiwi) and Beak (brown kiwi) around a Christmas tree festooned with holiday decorations and baNAna ornaments. (Look close - Bob has a sprig of holly stuck in his hatband!)

Each part of this is the size of a regular gumdrop figurine - the whole thing is about an inch high by 1.5" wide (think Snickers mini-bar / Hershey's miniatures). I wasn't convinced they'd have adequate stability joined as they are, so I threaded a pin through their foil cores to shish-kebab them together for that extra bit of support. It worked beautifully.

Sculpy clay and acrylic paints, with satin-finish varnish (at least on the final image w/background) for weatherproofing. :D
