Bybrae - Pooftania Forest Creature
Bybrae
Bybraeus Rex
Skull Canid Therpod
Pooftania Forest Creature
Biped
Height: 4 feet
Length: 6 feet
Weight: 95 pounds average
Diet: Omnivore (small rodents, reptiles, birds, bugs, berries, pinecones)
It's not wearing a skull mask. That's it's actual face. It's a hard facial covering, that's similar to an exoskeleton. It's soft at birth and hardens as the Bybrae ages. It's strong like ram horns. The skull-like covering protects them when they head-butt a tree to knock down the pinecones or males head-butt eachother in contests over territory or a mate.
They're mostly solitary animals. Males and females only pair up in spring. Females stay with their young for 2 years until they're old enough to survive on their own. A female will have 1-4 offspring a year.
Babies hatch from eggs and can see and walk within the first hour of hatching.
They chitter and have a squeaky call.
They can't climb. They make their nests on the ground.
Their average lifespan is 17 years.
They're friendly and will often approach people. They sometimes sneak into Pooftania at night and steal small livestock or chickens.
The Bybraes' only natural ememy is the Exelous...
